The Little Acrobat - 2011

An acrobat is flexible, moves around elegantly with an efficient use of energy and forces. In addition, small acrobats are quicker than large acrobats and show everlasting enthusiasm in presenting their capabilities. The work "The Little Acrobat" consists of a balanced pantograph (parallellogram) linkage. Since it is balanced, the mechanism can be moved into any position with minimal effort, also when the masses of the elements would be large. The center of mass of all moving elements is for any position of the mechanism at the rotational joint at the base.
